Marnie’s goal was to take this 80’s (forgotten) architecture and turn it into a modern airy home to capture this young families hip vibe. Light oak floors fill the space with a with a herringbone entry and black iron staircase. As you pass through each room there are touches of bohemian modern with natural fabrics and simple lighting fixtures. This unique renovation is located in the beautiful suburbs of Wyckoff, NJ (just 25 mins from NYC) and is the only black house in its town making quite a statement.
